[LOG] What’s Up, Cuz?

Characters: Khrista, Paris, Nausy
When: 7QJ76 / SD 798
Where: Quentão, Aquavitae
Summary: Khrista interrogates Paris about his painfully obvious feelings for Nausy. of course she interrogates, she's a Traydor
Warnings: Cute? Ows? It's really hard to tell with this ship, and because Khrista's involved :p

It had been one of Khrista's more uneventful visits to Quentão; for once she had no unrest to report, no rumors about the Navan Confederation starting up trouble again, no bad news about her parents. There was still the issue of being cut off from Elicoor --- she continued to suspect it had something to do with Vita bringing Nausy and Marc over without needing to use a frickin' ship --- but that was exactly why she was traveling the planet, to find a fix just like the last time she'd been stranded.

She'd come to say goodbye to Paris that morning. She'd only been in the palace for two days, and while she enjoyed her extended family's company, she needed to be out in the world, working. It occurred to her that she was becoming more and more like her mother, living up to the Traydor name fantastically, but what could she do? She wasn't trying to be a hero; she simply couldn't turn her back on people in need, and, well, problems that need solving.

But someone had beaten her to her destination. Nausy was already standing outside Paris' study when she arrived, rapping on the door with a playful, sing-song knock, bundles of letters in her hands. That made Khrista curious --- her cousin normally took care of the morning mail, and the redhead was hardly a morning person. At least, she clearly hadn't been for the past two days.

"You've got mail!" Nausy announced cheerfully.

Khrista leaned against the nearby wall, folding her arms and smirking. This should be interesting. Over the past year or so she'd noticed something blossom between her cousin and her childhood friend, and whatever it was had been definitely more pronounced lately, yet they still continued to skirt around each other like stupid teenagers. It was exasperatingly painful to watch.

Nausy hadn't noticed Khrista yet, but she'd be within Paris' line of sight once he'd come out of the door.
