She really was confused. When she first came to Quentão, she’d thought they were married. Then Paris explained that they were Bonded, but that didn’t really clear things up much for her, since they continued to exhibit a level of intimacy that she found unusual. So she’d continued to assume that they were at least more than friends. But, to her surprise, whenever she’d attempt to flirt with him (she couldn’t help it, like she’d said he was very good-looking), he would actually flirt back.
